Every morning I thank God when I wake up. Although I am not rich, I still have my own house to live in and have bread for breakfast. Most importantly, I have my family with me.
But out there, as USA Today said, “One in four homeless persons in America is a United States Veteran”. In other words, over 200,000 veterans sleep on our nation’s streets every night. These Veterans used to defend their people on battles and now they are homeless
Yes, it is a fact. But we people could do more, at least I think so.
Purple Heart Car Donations is an online non-profit organization based off disabled Purple Heart Veterans. They have been giving food, shelter and mental support to disabled Veterans. Recently they have opened doors to the car donation industry.
Vehicle Donations at Purple Heart is easy. Their web site is clean and focuses on the topic. We can either choose to donate cars right now on their web site or we can have a quick at the frequently asked questions. Of course, they can be contacted by phone or email info@carshelpingveterans.org. Purple Heart accepts donations in all 50 U.S states.
To make a donation, we need to first of all fill out an online car donation form. It contains basic information. Then the Purple Heart makes an arrangement and pick up the donated car on a scheduled time. Since it is a donation, the towing is free and any vehicle is accepted. And we will receive a tax deductible car donation receipt when the process of our vehicle donation is finished.
Veterans served in wars and gave their country the best time they have. And now is time for the people to do something. And perhaps, to donate car is not a bad idea.
