Foreigner in Paris

two cars in parisThis is a  picture I photoed on the Rue de Pontoise No.9,  Le Petit Pontoise in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. While my friends and I were having dinner, I suddenly saw the two cars parked outside. It excited me so much that I ran out quickly and took the photo. Why? Because it needs skills to park two cars like that.

As I used to know, westerners pay great attention to personal space and a safe distance between two people is usually more than 75 centimeters. For instance, if there are more than two people in one single room, they will try to stand or sit as far from each other as possible. Another example is: it is easy to notice that while two strangers are waiting for buses, they tend to comfort themselves by sitting at the two ends of the bench(This is especially true  in movies). So, it is no wonder I felt excited when I saw the two car parked liked that.

Why do people have to keep from each other for a safe distance meanwhile  their personal possessions–like cars mentioned in this post, can be crowed in a mess?

This is  a post review written after reading  a post from CaoBianWangShi.
